Nature, Nature, Seasons, Observations about Culture, Sea, Swimming/Boating Bronzata, White, and Blue Posted by Allison Scola on July 6, 2015 My view while at Scala dei Turchi, Agrigento, yesterday. The colors are just so radiant! Is the sand really that white??? So beautiful against the blue sky. Hope that you used lots of sunscreen there!
Cmarie, the Scala dei Turchi is not sand but marl or marlstone… a limestone/mud mix that forms cliffs. It’s a fascinating natural wonder!
