Guessing Game

What is this?… Many towns have ethnographic museums. One of the best I’ve seen outside of major cities is the two in Castellammare del Golfo that are inside the castle. They document the different trades, fishing, and agricultural practices of the region with fantastic exhibits in Italian and English. Pictured is one of my favorite displays. Can you guess what it is? The brass dies on the right might give it away…
