Why this trip?

Some vacations take you away from your life.
This one brings you back to it.

Summer solstice is the longest, most luminous day of the year. This is nature’s invitation to pause, open your eyes, and look at your life in full light. Sicily is the perfect place for this moment. This is an island of ancient rhythms, wild beauty, and extraordinary human warmth. When you move through it slowly, breathing sea air on the Zingaro coast, tasting wine made from vines older than memory, rolling pasta with a Sicilian mamma, something in you softens and clarifies.

Soul-stice Sicily is not a tour where you check boxes. It’s a carefully curated eight-day journey that weaves daily yoga, cultural immersion, incredible food, and the rare gift of unhurried time into an experience that leaves you feeling genuinely restored and inspired.

The Summer Solstice
in the world’s most sun-kissed land

June 21st marks the moment the sun stands still before turning its great wheel toward autumn.

Ancient cultures across the Mediterranean gathered at this threshold to celebrate, to set intentions, to acknowledge what they were releasing and what they were calling in. We honor that tradition gently, joyfully, and with very good Sicilian wine in the place where the sun has always been sacred.

Your 8-day Journey

Every day is thoughtfully paced, rich in experience, spacious enough to breathe.
Here’s what awaits you.

Day 1
Sunday, June 14

Arrival & First Intensions

Touch down in Palermo, where your group transfer whisks you to your family-run inn in Scopello, your home for the entire week. Before dinner, Clio leads an opening yoga circle to meet your fellow travelers and set your intentions for the journey. The evening begins with a welcome dinner together at the inn.

Day 2
Monday, June 15

Cook, Taste & Climb

Morning yoga awakens the senses before a hands-on cooking class at the inn. You’ll work through Sicilian recipes and sit down to eat what you’ve made. In the afternoon, enjoy free time in Erice, a medieval hilltop town that sometimes sits inside the clouds with cobblestone lanes, artisan ceramics, and dinner on your own as the sun sets over the sea.

Day 3
Tuesday, June 16

Temples, Sea & Ancient Olive Groves

An expert-guided tour of Selinunte, one of the largest Greek archaeological parks in the Mediterranean, where ancient temples still rise above a wild shoreline. Free lunch on the beach, an afternoon swim, then a visit to a local organic olive farm to taste some of the finest oil you’ll ever encounter.

Day 4
Wednesday, June 17

Markets, Mosaics & the Sea

A local guide leads you through Palermo’s Il Capo and La Vucciria markets: street food, hidden corners, and centuries of layered culture. In the afternoon, Cefalù: a gorgeous coastal town with a Norman cathedral, golden cliffs, and a beach made for lingering. Dinner on your own at sunset.

Day 5
Thursday, June 18

Wine, Salt & Ancient Beauty

Morning yoga invokes the goddess, igniting the divine feminine within. Then west to Trapani Province for a wine tasting and lunch. The afternoon takes you through Marsala’s archeological museum and the island of Mozia, home to the renowned “Youth of Mozia” statue. The group reconvenes for dinner beside the glowing pink salt flats at sunset.

Day 6
Friday, June 19

Catamaran & Healing Waters

Board a catamaran and glide along the Lo Zingaro coastline, best accessed by sea, with turquoise coves and the ancient Scopello tonnara rising from the cliffs. Swim in hard-to-reach spots, then explore Castellammare del Golfo on your own for lunch. In the afternoon, Clio’s yoga practice calls upon the healing power of water to open your energy and let prana flow.

Day 7
Saturday, June 20

Sun, Ancient Gods & Farewell

A nature walk yoga practice to start: earth underfoot, salt air, solstice sun, before a group hike through a coastal nature preserve with lunch along the way. The afternoon is free for a last swim at the beach. That evening: a farewell dinner at the inn, a long table full of food, wine, and the warmth of a week well-lived.

Day 8
Sunday, June 21

The Solstice Send-Off

A final breakfast, goodbyes, and a group transfer to Palermo Airport. You leave with recipes, photographs, and the kind of warmth that comes from a week shared with people who were strangers a week ago.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need yoga experience to join?

Absolutely not. Clio designs each practice to be accessible to complete beginners while still offering depth for more experienced practitioners. If you can breathe, you can do this yoga. Many of our most transformative participants had never practiced before, yet for experienced practitioners, Clio will give you practice points that rise to your level.

How physically demanding is the trip?

We rate this as moderately active. There will be walking on uneven ancient cobblestones, a boat excursion, and a hike in nature. Still, we rate it as “soft adventure.” If you can walk for two to three hours comfortably, you will be perfectly able to enjoy every experience. Our mission is to have you feel refreshed from your time in Sicily.

Is this trip for solo travelers?

Solo travelers make up a significant part of every Soul-stice group! They always tell us it was one of the best decisions they made. The intimate group size and the shared experiences create genuine connection very quickly. You will not feel alone.

What are the accommodations like?

We stay in carefully chosen boutique hotels and agriturismi that reflect the character and beauty of each location. Comfortable, charming, and with plenty of atmosphere — not generic chains. Rooms are typically private doubles or singles (supplements apply for single travelers).

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Sicilian cuisine is wonderfully flexible! There’s an abundance of extraordinary vegetarian, gluten-flexible, and allergen-conscious dishes rooted in the island’s traditions. Please let us know your needs when you book and we’ll ensure every included meal works beautifully for you.

Is travel insurance required?

We strongly encourage all guests to purchase comprehensive travel insurance including trip cancellation, interruption, and medical coverage. Travel insurance is not included in the tour price. We’re happy to recommend providers if you need guidance.
