Travel In Sicily In 2021

Ciao from Sicily! Finalmente! Yes, it is very hot here. But you know what? I am so happy to be here, it doesn’t bother me. I am here to enjoy the summer, the sun, the sea, and visit my family and friends. This is what Ferragosto (the August 15 holiday revelry) is all about!

How is it traveling now? If you are willing to go with the flow, it is great! We are observing regulations and mandates as we would at home. So, that means wearing a mask in stores, enclosed museums, and in crowded outdoor spaces. My husband and I are vaccinated, so we just show our CDC cards and passports, and that qualifies as our Italian green pass. We did the same to fly here, and have had no issues. Our experience here in Sicily has been very much like it was in the past: kind, welcoming locals, outstanding regional cuisine, and extraordinary history and culture to explore along with fantastic swimming and boating in the sea.

I’m preparing to bring our Experience Sicily Stunning Sicily October 2021 small-group tour, and I am very confident that for vaccinated travelers, we will have an outstanding time! We have 4 spots left… I’ll be your tour leader, and my tourism colleagues, local partner Evelina, and I will take great care of you. Get vaccinated and join us!
