Thank you to Visit Borgo Salemi for this beautiful photo! Tomorrow in New York City we’ll be (attempting) to make beautiful creations like this in preparation for our feast for St. Joseph’s Day.

Join me, Allison Scola of Experience Sicily, at Cacio e Vino at 2pm for a bread making workshop where we’ll get our hands dirty and hearts full. I’ll explain the traditions of the Feast and the symbolism of the various ritual loaves. It’s going to be a lovely day with a menu of tasty food by Giusto and team.

The decorative loaves we make on March 10 will then be displayed on our altar on March 24.
