My favorite part of the Cannoli Crawl is when my guests are confident about what makes a good cannoli. By the end of our day-long tour of New York City’s Village and Little Italy, they have learned more than they ever thought they would about this beloved pastry to become true Cannoli Connoisseurs. A certificate of achievement is nice, but really, the part that warms their hearts the most, are the people who host us along the way.
The Cannoli Crawl is not just a food journey, but an unfolding story of immigration, old and new, and the challenges and successes of Italians turned New Yorkers from decades ago and those we encounter during our walking tour today.
After the Cannoli Crawl, you’ll know a lot about cannoli and your stomach will be full, no doubt! But really, it’s your full heart that you take home and the feelings it gives you that you will remember for years to come.
Upcoming New York City tours are November 24 and December 15 and 22. Register at http://experiencesicily.com/events/new-york-cannoli-crawl
Wish I could be there, “crawling along” and enjoying each delicious bite! Have fun!
Perhaps you’ll have reason to come to New York City, and we’ll enjoy it together!
I’d need the means first! I can think of lots of reasons 🙂
I was thinking that you’ll get a writing assignment, and someone else will pay for it! That’s my wish for you!
