Earlier today, my traveling companions, Dominic and Tony, and I made a pilgrimage to Piana degli Albanesi, Sicily seeking another extraordinary cannolo. Jury: It was spectacular. Not only did we enjoy these, pictured, but the owner took us to the workshop to see the team making the day’s shells. And they shared most of their recipe! Without a doubt, one of the crispiest and most complimentary to the sweet ricotta cream ones I have ever had. Delicious.
