Let’s Live Vicariously

I’m arriving in Sicily from New York on Tuesday, which is very exciting; however, that means I’m going to miss this: The Sherbeth Festival Internazionale del Gelato Artigianale. You got it right: an international festival of artisanal gelato! Right in Palermo’s city center on Corso Vittorio Emanuele at Via Maqueda to Piazza Bologni, all weekend, it’s a gelato village with kiosk after kiosk of this frozen delight and live music stages. Experience Sicily’s Evelina Buttitta was at Sherbeth on Saturday, and she reported that the pistachio gelato from Bronte (That’s our shared favorite flavor!) was out of this world. Thanks for the photo Evelina! We’re all living vicariously through you.
