What to Expect
Join us for a Sunday afternoon reading and discussion by author John Keahey. John will read from his recent release, Sicilian Splendors, a picturesque travel memoir that navigates Sicily today and seeks to understand Sicily’s past.
Cacio e Vino will host us. Please expect to purchase $10 of drinks and/or food during the reading as a gesture to our host. Experience Sicily will supply some antipasto to enjoy during the reading.
There will be time to mingle and socialize during the afternoon with other guests.
John will have copies of his books Sicilian Splendors and Seeking Sicily available for sale for $20 each. He’ll be pleased to sign them for you!
About John Keahey
JOHN KEAHEY is a retired newspaper reporter/news editor, and “writer who travels” who is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He first visited Sicily in 1986 and, enchanted, keeps returning in between writing other travel narratives. His books range from southern Italy to Venice to western Tuscany. His earlier book on Sicily is Seeking Sicily: A Cultural Journey Through Myth and Reality in the Heart of the Mediterranean. He is married to Connie Disney, a freelance book designer.
