Day 5 of 16 Days of Sicily | New Friends

The main reason I started Experience Sicily is because of Sicilians. Yes, there are seven UNESCO World Heritage sites, delicious local foods, breathtaking landscapes, fabulous wines, and 3000 years of human history packed on this island the size of Massachusetts! However, do you know what you’ll remember? Claudio and Rosella playing music for you and weaving a characteristic basket out of olive branches before your very eyes. You’ll remember their warm and inviting spirits welcoming you to their island, the homemade peach tart you ate together, and the smiles and laughter you shared. Meeting them (or Maria or Giuseppe or Alfredo or Ricardo or Valeria or …) is what you’ll recall.

If we at Experience Sicily have anything to do with curating your itinerary, you will have interaction with Sicilians and you’ll realize that all of the vainglorious fictional Sicilian characters you’ve been exposed to through various media are just that — fictional!

Come have your heart warmed! Learn more about our small-group, experiential 2024 Sicily tours at link in bio or at https://experiencesicily.com/2024-tours-of-sicily/ and we’ll introduce you to our glorious friends!
