Climbing To The Top Of La Rocca In Cefalù, Sicily

While in Sicily in August, my cousin Evelina (and Experience Sicily colleague) and I climbed to the top of La Rocca in Cefalù to see the remains of the ancient temple of Diana and the magnificent views of the medieval town below. If you are up for the hike, it is a rewarding way to spend a morning. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water with you. There is an entrance fee to the park that is managed by the town.

Wear your bathing suit so you can cool off in the sea below, once you arrive back to the stone-lined alleyways at the foot of the splendid Arab-Norman cathedral.
