First, A Coffee In The Airport

Yes, it’s true, in the last year or so, Autogrill began to offer paper cups to take your coffee away (I don’t recommend it!). And with this, here begins our virtual Stirring Sicily 2020 tour presentation: What we would have been doing these next eight days in Sicily! So, on this first day, I meet you at the Palermo airport with our driver. And before you arrive, I have a latte macchiato served by Pietro in the bar in Arrivals (Yes, we are on a first name basis. That’s how much time I’ve spent in Palermo airport!). [Se tu sei a Punta Raisi, per favore salutami Pietro al bar. Gli dici che Allison da New York manda un saluto!]

But, I digress… Upon arrival, you’ll have an opportunity for a coffee if you’d like, and then with your luggage, we’ll make our way to the comfortable, air conditioned van. Amunì! We’re off to our farmhouse inn outside of Palermo. Your home for the next 7 nights.
