Start October Here In Taormina

Join me here in October 2020! Enchanting Taormina’s ancient amphitheater was built in phases, starting in the 3rd century BC by the Greek inhabitants of Mount Tauro, who added to the structure significantly in the 2nd century AD. The Romans then added their ingenuity in the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD, transforming it from a auditorium for dramatic theater to an amphitheater for grand spectacles. Even today, the splendid scenery of Giardini Naxos and Mount Etna is backdrop to concerts and performances throughout the year.

With my cousin and now Experience Sicily colleague, Evelina, I heard Elton John in concert here in 2003 with just his piano. It was 2.5 hours of magic. Let’s create some magic of our own during October 2020’s Stunning Sicily tour. You’ll stay for three nights in Taormina. Just imagine the history, the people watching, the cafés, the shopping! And that’s just the beginning of the impeccable experiences and hospitality you’ll have while traveling with me as your Experience Sicily host.
