My last days in Sicily during this visit were full of nature and inspired beauty and appointments to research new accommodations and discuss programming for 2020 and beyond. In sum, very busy!

First report: I was so fortunate to hike for two days outside of Ragusa in the Cava della Misericordia and the Cava d’Ispica. Just breathtaking! Thanks to Nanni Di Falco of Sicilia in cammino..trekking & outdoor, I joined a group of Northern Italians on their excursions. Meanwhile, I explored more of Ragusa Ibla, meeting a Sicilian cart artisan in his workshop, gazing at the Duomo di San Giorgio from a new perspective, and visiting the lovely Giardino Ibleo.
