A Joyful Evening in New York City

Last night’s Experience Sicily Evening in Licodia Eubea, Sicily event was full of joy! Author Natale Caruso and translator Marino D’Orazio brought the town and its characters to life–they had us gasping and laughing at the stories. Villa Palagonia (Joe Ravo and I) played some music (watch the Live video on the Experience Sicily Facebook page), our guests enjoyed refreshments, and everyone left with smiles on their faces.

I hope you’ll consider joining me for our July 2019 tour Life in a Remote Sicilian Town. Natale talked about how during summer evenings in Licodia along the Strada Lunga, the cafes and bars are full of revelers delighting in each other’s company. This is why we’re going to be staying there–because the people make the place! I can’t wait! Thank you Raffaele Tramontana for your help making this come together. And Carmelo Cafici for inspiring this adventure in Licodia Eubea. We’re getting ready to see you in July!
