Feels Good To Be Home

It feels good to be “home.” When I see Capo Zafferano, pictured, and swim in the sea below, I am in my land. These are the waters where my grandfather fished and swam more than 100 years ago before emigrating to the United States. It’s an amazing feeling to think of him and my grandmother when I am here. I have so much to be thankful for, all stemming from this breathtaking spot.

Chef Antonino Elia and I decided yesterday to use our land (la nostra terra) as our home base for Stirring Sicily (partnered with Zest! of Lititz, Penn.) next September 19-26, 2019. So, if you come with us, you’ll swim here too.

We’re changing the itinerary, now that we completed this past week… It’s going to be amazing! Stay tuned for all the details!
