A Horse Isn’t Just A Horse

Never stopping, today, I fit in some horseback riding on Etna at Sicily Horse Riding, which specializes in taking tourists through the forests and terraced vineyards of Etna (and on the beach too!). After an enlightening wine tasting on the slopes… and our journey through the bush, I thanked Maya, for letting me ride her today and for working so hard walking on all those volcanic rocks.

It’s been a very long time since I’ve ridden a horse (I used to ride a lot between the ages of 6 and 12 years old.). It was fun to be back in the saddle again and see Etna from a different angle!
