Historical Car Race in Sicily

The Targa Florio Classic, pictured here from 2016 (Photo Credit: Filippo Buttitta), is a historical car race that travels through northern Sicily, including towns like Cerda, Castelbuono, and Cefalù. Cars wiz through the switchbacks of the National Parco delle Madonie. The final day includes an award ceremony at Palermo’s Teatro Massimo theater. This year’s Targa Florio Classic will be October 4-7.
