LIVE from Sicily | Scopello is always dreamy. Look at the sea with the opposite side of the gulf in the distance! After a stormy night along Sicily’s north coast, we were greeted by clear blue skies and crisp breezes this morning. It’s in the mid-70s (F)/ mid-20s (C), so cooler than one might expect this time of year; however lovely! Our group of 7 guests and two guides (Sebastiano, our local guru, and I) gathered for an evening orientation and then dinner featuring fresh fish and local pasta recipes on the seaside terrace of our family-run hotel. Small groups like this enable us to stay and dine in charming locales. A lovely first day!
