Day 2 of 16 Days of Sicily | Hiking Through Sweeping Vistas

I can’t get enough of Sicily’s panoramic walking trails like this one near Custonaci. Often when one thinks of Sicily, s/he pictures seaside fishing villages and beaches. That’s certainly true, but Sicily is mountainous too! And often those mountains are just steps from the sea, so you can get in a dynamic hike, and then within minutes take a swim to cool off.

During June’s Soul-stice Sicily, co-hosted by Philadelphia-based yoga instructor Clio Mallin, we’ll be hiking along Western Sicily’s north coast on one of the most breathtaking trails on the island. Celebrate the Summer solstice in Western Sicily and awaken your senses through this transformative journey, where the scenes of your rejuvenation are the Mediterranean island’s vibrant villages, heartwarming local people, profound UNESCO sites, and awe-inspiring natural beauty.
