The ancient tuna fishery at Scopello, Trapani Province, Sicily

NB This is privately owned, yet you can pay to enter the Tonnara di Scopello to swim right off of the pier at the bottom of the hill. It’s paradise. Bring a towel, water, snacks, and sun screen and spend the day. They provide chairs and shade.
