Live from Sicily! Today we enjoyed a marvelous volcano experience on Etna. Our guides from Etna Moving are always fantastic. What a great family experience it is to go into a lava tube (pictured), where the footing is a challenge and it’s dark! We had to work together to ensure everyone’s safe return to the surface–Just like Orpheus, but we were able to turn around and smile at our loved ones during the adventure.
Part of the family then went horseback riding, which they thoroughly enjoyed – – especially the children. We’ll be back in the area on Thursday for even more interaction with the people and terroir of Etna.
