Our barman treated us to some excellent almond granita (That is what Americans might call “Italian ice,” but really, you can’t compare the two! It’s just almonds, sugar, and water… Frozen and soft.) after our evening espresso. Then he gave us caffè flavored granita. Now, I’m really awake. Oh my.
