Experience Sicily partners with Sicilian chefs, restaurateurs, wine experts, authors, and historians to produce memorable gatherings that will satisfy your gastronomic curiosities and intellectual and cultural interests about Sicily.

In-person events have included everything from hands-on pasta and cannoli making workshops to wine and olive oil tastings to Sicilian folk music concerts and lectures about Sicilian history and culture, and travel in Sicily.

Online Sicily-Inspired Events

Experience Sicily presents interactive and engaging online events via Zoom and other platforms. We offer scheduled events,  and additionally, owner/curator Allison Scola can be engaged to produce an event for your organization. Music Performances and Tarantella Dance Workshops

Owner and curator Allison Scola is one half of the music duo Villa Palagonia. Together with Joe Ravo, she creates Sicilian and southern Italian inspired American folk music. Villa Palagonia performs regularly, not only at public concerts and festivals, but also in private settings and house concerts.

Allison loves leading tarantella workshops and getting the crowd moving! She’s conducted workshops in New York’s Little Italy at the Feast of San Gennaro and the Marco Polo Festival, at University of Pennsylvania, and at regional Italian festivals.
