Sicily: Wonder of the Mediterranean by the BBC

I had another post planned for today, but after staying up until 2 a.m. last night to watch the BBC’s Sicily: Wonder of the Mediterranean with historian Michael Scott, I changed the plan. If you have access to BBC, I highly recommend you take the time to watch this captivating program. It had me at Buongiorno. They did a magnificent job, with awesome cinematography and some fantastic interviews (my favorite is with Palermo’s mayor, Leoluca Orlando). It presents an accurate picture of Sicily today, explaining that we all have so much to learn from its 3000 years of humanity mixing on its shores, in its markets, and throughout its landscape. My heart was so full of joy from this depiction of a place I hold dear and what it can teach us. Bravi Michael Scott and the BBC!

Now, let’s talk about you experiencing Sicily with us at Experience Sicily
