Enchanting Sicily, Day 8: Taormina’s Teatro Greco Antico

image

LIVE from Sicily! | If you know Sicily, it’s hard to imagine the amount rain we’ve had the past few days (a lot!). Today, roads were rivers, and this normally splendid view from Taormina’s Teatro Greco Antico amphitheater wasn’t so clear. Still, I want to share it with you!

Enjoying all these postcards. Wow such rain! It was 103 in Cefalu when I was there moons ago. Enjoy the food, I’m sure it’s great!

    1. Glad you’re enjoying the “postcards” Francesca! We’ll be in Cefalù tomorrow!

  2. Beautiful scene, even with the rain. Wonder what’s bringing the rain. I’m glad you’re out in it no matter what!

    1. It’s so sad, the rain. Well, we’re working with it!

make sure to have the cassata gelato, and the chocolate gelato, it was like a fudgy wudgy from years ago. They had great food in Cefalu! I stood (I think it was a Spendido hotel) I’m unsure. It was a 10 minute walk up a hill from the beach. I love the piazza there, lots of great shopping.

I’m so jealous! Wish I could stay there for months on end. At least the rain brings beautiful flowers! Enjoy Allison.
